In 2018 the production of all types of polyethylene had already exceeded 102 million tons, and the world production of polypropylene had reached almost 72 million tons.

Despite the fact that there are a number of negative factors that hinder the development of the polyolefin market in Russia, the position of domestic polyolefin exporters in the European and Chinese markets remains very confident.

According to experts, by 2023, the Russian Federation will have a surplus of about 2 million tons of polyolefin. In the conditions of increasing surplus in the polymer industry, the manufacturer needs to focus on building the most reasonable relations with business participants aimed at ensuring stable and harmonious growth and achieving mutually beneficial results.
