Dear Sirs!
CREON Energy has the pleasure of inviting you to the Seventh International «Helium 2018» Conference.
Date: October 18-19, 2018
Venue: Kempinski Hotel Moika 22, St. Petersburg
Right now, the Helium market, quite stable formerly, is facing major changes: the United States cut both production and reserves, which will certainly affect consumers; Qatar fails to secure the planned gas volumes in full; over the long term, Tanzania will be joined by Tibet as a new source of Helium. Only Russia, without any changes, follows the scenario.
The widely announced agreement between Gazprom, Linde and other companies on the supply of Helium from the Amur Gas Processing Plant provides an opportunity for Russia to enter the global market with the prospect of becoming its new leader. In the meantime the demand for Helium will remain healthy, as the overwhelming majority of experts agree. The output of high-tech materials and products is growing every year. Though potential customers are looking for more affordable replacement (or even try to cut down consumption to minimum like in CT), which is caused by the shortage of Helium in free market, this will not affect the global demand situation.
Another important issue for the industry, closely related to Helium consumption, is the storage of gas. Once all the announced projects are implemented, the global supply will grow significantly (which includes Qatar 3 and Qatar 4, as well as the Amur GPP). Will the demand keep up with supply? In this regard, setting up Helium storage facilities should be already considered.
A global shakeup of the market is possible as a result. Helium producers will strongly compete for their market shares. Thus the leading position will not be easy to earn for Russia.
We suggest that the following topics be discussed at the «Helium 2018» Conference:
· Global Helium market overview and development outlook.
· Overview of Helium market in Russia.
· Helium price situation.
· Sales destinations for Russian Helium.
· Reasonability of setting up facilities for long-term storage of Helium.
· Advanced equipment for Helium storage and transportation.
· Development of Helium transportation infrastructure.
CREON Energy is proud to be the first organizer of the conference in the Eastern Europe, where all the important players and experts can discuss Helium market situation and development prospects, share their plans and conclude mutually beneficial contracts.
