Having excellent characteristics and physical and mechanical properties, nowadays polyurethane is a very popular polymer material in several segments, in particular-in the construction industry, in the manufacture of furniture, in the automotive industry, as well as in the production of paints, adhesives, coatings, and sealants.
Contrary to expectations, the most important and exciting issue for all market players – the provision of own raw materials – remains open. And the domestic PU market, unfortunately, continues to be unstable and extremely dependent on the supply of imported raw materials.
However, many experts believe that the industry, despite the unresolved problems, has the prerequisites for growth. Consumption of polyurethanes is reaching a new level; there are new segments of consumption, such as the production of wood boards.
